God In The Wilderness

Is God really with us in the wilderness?

Throughout Israel’s journey, God did not abandon His people in the barren, uncertain wilderness—He chose to dwell among them. In this sermon, we explore Exodus 25, 33, and 40, uncovering how the Tabernacle was more than just a tent—it was a powerful sign of God’s presence, guidance, and faithfulness in the midst of uncertainty.

💡 Key Themes:

Exodus 25: God commands the building of the Tabernacle—His dwelling place.
Exodus 33: Moses pleads for God's presence, and God promises, "My presence will go with you."
Exodus 40: The glory of the Lord fills the Tabernacle, showing His nearness.

🔥 How does this connect to us today?

Like the Israelites, we all walk through wilderness seasons—times of doubt, waiting, and struggle. Yet, through Jesus, God no longer dwells in a tent but within us (John 1:14, 1 Cor. 6:19). The wilderness is not a sign of God's absence but an invitation to trust His presence in deeper ways.

📖 Reflection Questions: Where do I struggle to see God’s presence in my life? How does knowing God dwells with us change how I approach difficult seasons? Am I preparing my heart to experience His presence daily?
